The Vancouver office typically places $600 million of this, with a substantial component for mixed use condominium development. This volume of financing has allowed us to develop strong relationships with a number of key lenders across the country, including BCIMC, Otera, Bank of America, Great West Life, Manulife, and ICBC, all of whom we deal with on a regular basis. These relationships enable us to provide our clients with the best financing terms available in the market.

Chris Ritter graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and has been in the mortgage brokerage industry for the past 30 years after leaving TD Bank in 1987. During this time, he worked with Bancorp Mortgage Ltd. and Penreal Financial Inc. in Vancouver, where he arranged financing in excess of $200,000,000. Ritter left Penreal in 1997 to join Canada ICI Commercial Mortgages in Calgary. While with Canada ICI, Mr. Ritter arranged financing in excess of $500 million annually over a four-year period. Ritter joined Brewster at CMSI Pacific in 2003, and since that time has arranged in excess of $1 billion in debt.
Morgan Brewster began his financial career with the Financial Institutions Commission of British Columbia, the government regulator of Mortgage Brokers. He joined CMSI Pacific in 2013. He specializes in structuring, analyzing, and funding commercial mortgages across all asset classes, working regularly with most major lenders in Canada. Mr. Brewster holds the Canadian Investment Manager designation (CIM) and has an Economics Degree from the University of Calgary.
Mark Brewster began his career in commercial real estate with Morguard in Edmonton, after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in Urban Land Economics from UBC in 1978. Brewster remained with Morguard for 9 years, during which he held various positions including Manager of Loan Production in Calgary and National Vice President of Business Development in Toronto. Brewster left Morguard in 1987 to pursue more entrepreneurial opportunities as a principal of Terracan Capital Corporation, a private real estate merchant bank specializing in mezzanine loans and equity investments in real estate developments. In 1991 he formed Bancwest Pacific, which now does business as CMSI Pacific.
Benjamin Curry began his career in the financial markets specializing in corporate structuring, market analysis and capital financing in the public equity arena. Prior to joining CMSI, he worked with a leading residential mortgage brokerage as a top producing sub-broker where he completed over $200 million in residential mortgages. Since joining the CMSI team in 2018, he works with all major asset classes and has developed a strong network of lenders and borrowers across Western Canada. Mr. Curry holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography (Urban) with a minor in Commerce from the University of British Columbia.
